Aromatisse Plushie

Anyway, here's a plushie of Aromatisse, one of the most, um, controversial Pokemon from this generation. OK, it's probably one of the less popular Pokemon from this generation, and heck even I think Spritzee deserved a better evolution (I was never on the plague doctor bandwagon though), but I think it's still silly and cute enough to get a plush. Because after all, is there really a Pokemon that doesn't deserve a plush?

Aromatisse is made of minky for the body and legs, and faux fur for the boa. I couldn't find a more deep pink for the faux fur that wasn't too dark, so I had to stick with baby pink faux fur, which is still good enough. Measures about 12 inches tall. This was by far the most technically challenging plush I've made so far! Lots of new experiences on this one; embroidering the eyelashes under the eyes (they're not sewn directly into the surface), ladder stitching the legs onto the faux fur (SUCH a pain!), putting the claws in the hands, and in general about twice as much ladder stitching as any other project would've required. Did I mention I'm still bad at ladder stitching? Oh well, guess I'm improving.

I've got some more plush plans in the future! Dunno how soon I can spit another one out, but there will definitely be something later in February.
