Anoinu Plush by Diffeomorphism Anoinu Plush by Diffeomorphism
This lil' cutie's name is Anoinu! He's a character designed by ovopack, a kemono artist whose work I really like. Like seriously, go check out his work right now, it's amazing. His style is so good and was a huge factor in me trying to teach myself how to draw. Anyway, I was looking through his works and fell in love with his little character Anoinu, so I sent him a message (thanks Tanner for translating!) asking him if I could make his character just because I felt like it needed to be made in plush form. I was so happy when he said yes! So yeah.

He's about 18 inches tall, made of mango and vanilla minky. There's some quilt batting in his ears to help them remain stable. His pants are removable too; the part of the pants above his tail are 2 flaps held together by velcro. I think there's a few details which I could've done better, but I'm super happy with how he came out overall! Embroidering his eyes was an enormous pain in the ass though...

Also, if you use LINE, there are Anoinu LINE stickers! They're super super cute. Go give ovopack the money he deserves, and then spam anime furboy stickers at your friends.

Personally I think the head is a tad big, but that just might because sometimes unusual proportions on character designs really become magnified when you try to turn them into plushies. Like how I could never reconcile the fact that Celebi's head seemed enormous for its body despite it seeming fine in all the artwork =P

Thanks a bunch! Honestly I don't think I'll ever be completely out of plushies, I just need to have projects which motivate me to want to work on them. Since I have to go to work now it's hard to motivate myself to work on commissions of characters who I'm only semi-interested in, and since I'm not as into Pokemon anymore, things that I want to make are becoming a bit more rare. I do have another plush project lined up for the beginning of next year though!

Oooh ! Sounds good ! :D What about making your own creatures/characters ? Or not enough inspiration for this ?

I was considering drawing my own original characters eventually! I've been trying to think of something but haven't been able to come up with anything in particular. Oh well.

Haha :D It does take time to know what we want to do, especially "selfcreations" :) I'm trying to figure out some "mathematical plushies" but can't find any, I was hoping you could find some :D

Mathematical plushies? Go for a menger sponge!* It'll be super easy since you don't need any stuffing for it since it has zero volume.

*Note: Do not actually attempt to make a menger sponge, it exists in 2.7268-dimensional space.

Damn I'll go with a Schrödinger cat to begin with then it'll be more simple xD I was counting on you to pull up a "mathematical" plushie whatever it can be ! =p Maybe we can success to do one though :D
Thank you for the answer and link though, I'll be less dumb tonight ;)

Thanks a bunch! As I've said before countless times, the best way to practice shapes is just to keep making plushies =)
